Dover Dixon Horne is sending a trio of attorneys to speak at the 56th annual Arkansas Federal Tax Institute hosted by the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
The two-day event at the Little Rock Embassy Suites, which begins on Dec. 7, will feature attorneys Matt Boch, TJ Lawhon and Mike Parker.
On Thursday, Boch is partnering with Bob Johnson, who leads the SALT practice at the accounting firm BKD. They will discuss trends and recent major developments in the state and local tax (SALT) arena from a national or multistate perspective for all tax types. Topics will include nexus, e-commerce, and apportionment.
On Friday, Lawhon and Parker will bring attendees up to speed on recent Arkansas tax developments that have occurred during the 2017 legislative sessions. In addition, the Tax Reform Task Force is underway, raising questions about major tax changes in the years to come. The discussion will include all tax types (sales/use, income, property) and will also touch on credits and incentives.
