Dover Dixon Horne PLLC is pleased to announce its inaugural firm ranking for Corporate/Commercial law in the 2021 Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business guide.

In addition, Chambers and Partners ranked attorneys Stephen Giles (Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use), Matt Boch (Corporate Commercial: Tax), and James Beachboard (Real Estate) in recognition of their outstanding legal work. Boch received his first ranking as an individual attorney, while Giles and Beachboard were repeat honorees.

The full firm profile for DDH’s Arkansas rankings can be found here.

Published by London-based Chambers and Partners, the annual Chambers USA guide ranks firms and attorneys in a wide range of practice areas based on in-depth research, and client and peer interviews. As the preeminent guide of the legal industry, Chambers evaluates attorneys based on their legal knowledge and experience, ability and effectiveness, and client service.

Rankings are given in “bands,” with Band 1 being the top distinction.

DDH received a Band 3 ranking as a firm in Arkansas for Corporate/Commercial law. Notably, only eight firms total in Arkansas received a ranking in 2021.

One client told Chambers, DDH stood out for a “proactive supply of information," adding: "They continue to be a good resource. They also have good connections across the country and internationally." A peer described DDH as a "great firm,” and one source from the research process said, “The lawyers are all outstanding in particular fields and their specialty."

Giles continues to be a Band 1 attorney in Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use, one of only three attorneys in Arkansas honored. He was noted as “a first port of call for public and private sector clients when facing complex zoning and land use matters, with his standing in the sector bolstered by his prior experience advising on real estate and broader litigation matters in-house for the city of Little Rock.”

Boch became a first-time honoree for his work in Tax law, with sources telling researchers:

  • "He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the subject that's at a level rarely seen."
  • "He has been very responsive and proactive. His strength lies in his ability to summarize issues for us."
  • "He's an excellent SALT lawyer."

Beachboard was recommended to researchers for his legal work in “buying, selling and leasing of commercial, agricultural and infrastructure sites.”

"He is always looking around corners to see how the company can be harmed and is always trying to look at preventative measures," one source said. "He's brilliant and good at whatever he does," another added.
